footecs.com exists to explain what we do, show honest pricing ranges, and give you ways to reach us. The content is provided as general information, not professional advice for your specific situation. The estimator and quiz produce starting points, not quotes — the number you can hold us to is the one in a written proposal.

Every project runs on a written proposal: scope, deliverables, price and timeline, agreed before work starts. The proposal (and any agreement we both sign alongside it) governs the project; these terms cover the website and the period before a proposal exists. A deposit books the project; the balance is invoiced as set out in the proposal. Monthly plans bill at the start of each month and cancel with 30 days' written notice.

Changes are normal. When scope changes, we re-quote in writing before doing the changed work — no surprise invoices, in either direction.

We don't promise rankings, traffic, lead counts or revenue — and we'd encourage you to be suspicious of anyone who does. What we commit to is the work itself: delivered as scoped, on the agreed schedule, built to the standards we publish across this site.

When your project is paid for, you own it: the website, the content we wrote for it, the accounts it runs on. We hand over credentials and documentation at launch. We keep the right to describe the work in our own portfolio unless you ask us not to. Third-party platforms (Shopify, WordPress plugins, fonts, stock imagery) stay under their own licenses.

We carry responsibility for doing our work with professional care. Beyond that, to the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to the site or an engagement is limited to the amount you paid us for the work in question, and neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of Minnesota, USA. If a part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. If we update them, the date below changes — we won't apply changes retroactively to work already agreed. Questions: contact@footecs.com.
